It has been a busy time over the past year with our research activities. We were privileged to be invited to speak at a number of events. My colleague, Prof Philip Morrow, was invited to present our serious games and VR research at the 9th International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare, 2015. While I was invited to present at MS Frontiers 2015 in London, and then at the 2016 symposium of the Belgian Society for Neurorehabilitation in Brussels. At the end of May this year Prof Suzanne McDonough and I were also invited to present at the Northern Ireland Stroke Conference in Belfast. We used the opportunity to showcase our latest games and VR rehabilitation research systems and the team was busy with demos all day. The new HTC Vive was on show as you can see from the picture below – Dominic in the background blissfully unaware of the photo opportunity. We were really encouraged by the feedback that we received and we made great new collaborative contacts.
